He was an interception machine in high school, IIRC

Yet, he was highly recruited.

Name one QB that progressed his 2nd year under Malzahn's tutelage.

Jeremy Johnson comes to mind in the way he was handled. Say what you want, but Gus broke Johnson. He had no business being on the field, and Gus kept trotting him back out there, and it got worse.
Pretty sure he replaced him with White after just 3 starts in 2015

Marshall did not progress from 2013 to 2014. Same exact player, but I'll give you credit for the one QB that didn't regress.

Didn't your special needs teacher not instruct you to not hurl insults? Nevermind, we shouldn't expect you to learn anything.

Looks pretty even to me, well except for the Win/Loss:

Passing Rushing
Year Team Comp Att Yds TD INT Rate Att Yds Avg TD
2013 Auburn 142 239 1,976 14 6 143.2 172 1068 6.2 12
2014 Auburn 178 293 2,532 20 7 148.7 153 798 5.2 11

Yep you’re an idiot, coming from the guy who thinks another coach would have had success with Jeremy Johnson or Clint Mosley probably

He became more of a QB and less of a read option wizard. Had to with Prosch and G Rob leaving and Duke coming in.

"Read Option Wizard" got us within a few seconds of winning a Natty, but let's change that, and try something else.

"Read Option Wizard" is a a DB in Canada now. Thanks for making my point on Gus' QBs progression from one year to the next.

His supporting cast obviously changed.

He was a DB as a TF as well. Hmmm

Do the people that run the facility that you live in, know you are interacting with others without supervision?

You mentioned Johnson and Mosley, and left off EVERYBODY else. Did Pro QB Stidham progress? Amazing how different a player looks with proper coaching, huh? Wait, don't contemplate that. I'm sure your doc doesn't want to be called in on a Saturday night.

So, he was recruited as a DB, changed schools and became a running QB, was very successful, the next year his coach decided to turn him into a passing QB, and he's now in the CFL playing DB? Did I get that right?

The reason for changing his style of play, is because two players left? I would think, pass blocking is much more difficult than run blocking. I guess, all those NFL left tackles making $$$$, are known for their run blocking skills instead of protecting that franchise QB from being broke in half.

you know except for the 600 more yards, 6 more TDs, a better TD:ATT ratio, a better INT:ATT ratio, a better TD:INT ratio, a better completion percentage.

He literally got better in every single category.

oh oh okay... yes it was Nick Marshall who was responsible for our losses... not the 63rd ranked scoring defense or the 66th ranked total defense

he averaged more yards/game and yards/play in 2014

the "change" you keep harping on didn't make him a worse player

Not a bad career for an athlete with a big arm.

Have to play to your strengths. Ricardo, Sammie, Duke, CAP, Uzomah, etc.
It’s not like we completely abandoned Marshall running the ball. Teams like Kansas State just took it away.

You conveniently left off the running game.

600 yards? Really? So 45 yards passing more per game, on average is a big deal? Did you account for the extra attempts? I guess you are statistical genius, huh?

His TOTAL game did not progress. Statistically, he was about even. His gift was ball handling and running. Gus got away from that, and the team suffered.
