Oh 5 star on rivals. Gotcha. No one uses rivals rankings

Fair enough on Watson, I remembered him being the number 1 dual QB and assumed he was a 5 star. Ill eat that one. He was top 45 composite.
Ramsey was not though, wasnt even top 100 composite and Raiola was one of those queers who transferred his senior year. Hes from Arizona, not GA.

I can post other more credible rankings from sites he’s not a 5 star.
But that validates many people’s point on here. If you have the pieces in place a good not great QB can take you where you want to go.
I’m not even sure why we are arguing everyone on the board would like to land Juju. Some disagree that we should do “everything” to land him. Most would say give him fair market value and if he comes he comes if he doesn’t you move on to someone else just like at any other position.

I’m taking back everything I said in my last paragraph yesterday. I was wrong and trust Hugh Freeze to do what’s best for Auburn.

Take away the N Mex. St. blunder, this should have been a 9-3 team heading into the Bowl game.
we would just have likely been blown out in that game even if we’d held on the beat UGa and Bama
it’s Freezus’ M.O.

Freeze doesn’t have an MO at Auburn. He’s had one season where basically all he tried to do was get a QB that wasn’t Ashford. Shore up some holes in the line of scrimmage and take some chances on some lower level WRs to come play and they definitely didn’t work out.
Plus recruit his arse off and land a great core to start the Freeze era. Only think missing was multiple big OL his first cycle but the OL class was way way down overall.
This year is DL and OL heavy and we aren’t done. Get another top end WR a couple good running backs and land Juju and it’s a great second class. The foundation will have been laid.
Then let’s see what the MO is. If he drops 2 games a year he shouldn’t after that then I will say he has an MO at AU…. Ole Miss and Liberty isn’t Auburn not even in the same stratosphere

That would help make up for the talent deficit incurred during the potato famine.

JuJu had his day in Colorado ......Now make a decision and shock everyone ...

Yes, JuJu is committing at Big Cat.

No one knows what Juju is doing. I would stop analyzing everything he posts or rumors you hear. He’s a kid with a father looking to get paid. I’m sure Auburn has made a legitimate offer and shown all the positives being at AU for Juju and the entire family being closer to home.
Beyond that we need to start winning some games. Putting an offense that can run a good running game and passing game at the same time. Score 30 against good defenses instead of hoping we can get to 20.

I agree. He may not be a guaranteed Hiesman winner, but him committing to Auburn would raise the optics surrounding the football program. It's obvious Auburn is trending up. I feel like signing Juju would make a statement to other teams that Auburn is not gonna just be good but elite if things keep trending the same way

FSU sucked for 50 years until Daddy Bowden arrived.
Florida sucked for their entire history before Spurrier.
Georgia could never get over the hump for 40 years until Kirby.
But Auburn can’t happen?
Never?

Spurrier should have been watching the replacement of the artifial carpet….then spend years watering the real grass. He cvonvinced the NCAA he could get the Alumni in line.
