I don't get it either. He sounds exactly like many country people I've met in the Black Belt. He doesn't speak like he's running for president or anything, but it's not exactly Spanish.

I'm hoping Gabe drops another "Nick Who?", but this time, it's not pointed at Fairly.

Yep he speaks quickly and sometimes syllables run together. He'll do fine

Good for Nick. He is making the most of his second chance and is growing before our eyes. How many of us would like talking to cameras while in college. I guarantee he has grown leaps and bounds since he stepped foot on this campus. Who cares how he talks.

I don't see the problem. He's country, not stupid.

Some people get utterly embarrassed by country obviously.

Just not up to their SO VERY HIGH STANDARDS, you see.

Having a strong regional dialect is not a positive attribute. That goes for any region not just the south/country

True, I hate to hear people from Boston, New Jersey, Wisconsin, New Orleans, and St. Louis talk...

But honestly, IDGAF. Let Nick become comfortable with public speaking. It will only help him to prepare for awards season

Says who? I seem to like some people more because of their accents.

Didn't know we had a bunch of speech coaches on this board. Ok, I'll mind my Ps and Qs, sir.
