He's in the '25 class.. lets see if Deion is even still there then lol.

Also there is zero chance Mason, Kelly or Trob will be our DC. Mostly because they suck as DCs. Mason been living off Richard Sherman for a decade and Kelly and Trob are position coaches.

I don't recall his name but I remember that.

I did hear some wild talk on the radio this morning. This guy and woman were going on and on and on about how the happiest people in the country that Deion went to Colorado were Nick Saban, Kirby Smart, Jim Harbaugh and Ryan Day. Their logic being that Deion didn't take the Auburn, Nebraska, or Wisconsin job.

Look, I understand that Deion is gonna recruit, but doubt Kirby and Harbaugh would be losing any sleep because Deion Sanders took a job in their respective conferences.

If he goes to a better job I dont know why the recruit wouldn’t follow him there. Some elite athletes are cult Deion fans too.

And TROB can be more than a position coach. Good grief.

I agree. I'm just saying whether he fails or succeeds I don't think Deion will be there long. Plus if they guy blows up enough then Bama, Oh St, and UGA will come calling and its a different world trying to fight them off.

Based on what? He might get there one day, but its not today. He's one of the guys who should take a DC job at a smaller school or even Colorado, but he's not where near qualified to be our DC.

Nobody other than Cadillac has officially been announced. OP is reading tea leaves, and I expect him to be correct.

He has already been DC in the SEC for one.

He is a great recruiter, secondly.

Thirdly, he has developed great DBs.

Robinson mentored defensive lineman Kingsley Enagbare, a first-team All-SEC selection, and defensive back Jaycee Horn, a second-team All-SEC pick. In 2019, the South Carolina defense – led by first-team All-American defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw – held its opponents to 20 points or less in five games. Sophomore cornerback Israel Mukuamu earned second-team All-SEC honors, while Jammie Robinson and Zacch Pickens earned SEC All-Freshman accolades for the Gamecocks in 2019.

In 2017 South Carolina led the SEC and ranked ninth in the country with 28 turnovers forced, while ranking 25th in points allowed per game at 20.7. The Gamecocks held 11 of 13 opponents to fewer points than their season average. South Carolina tied for 10th in the nation in turnovers forced with 27 during the 2016 campaign, including 15 interceptions.

He was horrible as DC for SC. You described a position coach.

I can point to you our growing list of horrible DCs. Twill gave up 630 yards to Tulane yesterday. Kiffin is a “position player.” Kelly wants Prime. You wanna just go get Steele?
