Jang makes foolish take after foolish take, but then everyone else is showing their arse.
You came at me bitch. I said nothing to you. Unless you are a James Franklin fan, and then yes it was meant for you.

How about a real man? A Dan Campbell type that scares players and refs.

Its the NIL world and I dont think anyone is leaving a school in the top 25 for a non top 25 school.

That doesn't make sense. In an NIL environment revenue and boosters are the metric.
We are a top 20 program.

Brent Key
I really like what he has done at Tech. I heard an interview he did with Cole Cubelic on the radio right before the season started and really like what he was saying and how he carries himself. He is exactly the type of coach that needs to be running the Auburn program.

I think James Franklin is going to get fired.
Just got the ESPN notification.
He gone.
ETA: If Penn St can fire a guy like Franklin with as many games as he wins (yes, I know he doesn't win the big ones and cant get over the hump, but he wins more than our coach) then Auburn can as well.

Franklin is a bum. His record against ranked opponents speaks for itself.
He loses every big game. Now he is losing against unranked opponents.
Penn State fans are celebrating that he is gone.
I think that they make a run at Brent Key.

I'd also like to know who gave the green light on giving HF a buyout. NO school was coming after him.

The buyout is mainly to protect the coach in case they get fired before their contract ends.

Is there even one example of a modern coach being hired with zero buyout clause protecting him? Freeze's buyout is at least structured so that it is paid over increments so there is no massive amount owed to him ~30 days after his firing. Whether or not anyone else would have hired him has no bearing on giving him a buyout. He had a buyout in his Liberty contract as well, and Liberty hired him off his Ole Miss firing. Was any other school coming after him other than Liberty at the time?
This seems like a pretty pointless thing to grovel over because the buyout is a given in any coaching contract at this point. Its like when fans come up with their genius idea of signing the new coach to only a ~2 year deal and making him "prove it" every year with 1-2 year extensions so that you don't get stuck in a Jimbo Fisher situation. Sure, that sounds awesome on paper, but that isn't how the real world works. When the completely unproven new HC is signed to a 4-5 year deal with a buyout, its not because nobody in the AD had the bright idea to structure a contract that is 100% to the benefit of the school lol.
