The last time we played northwestern I’ve never been so hungover in my life. Decided it would be fun to funnel jager New Year’s Eve as a 19 year old. Was in bed for 3 days after.

Ted Roof and Kevin Steele run many of the same philospohical concepts. Steele runs more zone blitzes he learned from Dom Capers, which are unsound. Proven to be unsound.

Ted Roof might be an improvement. I know first-hand that Chizik would walk into defensive meetings on Wednesday and vanilla'd everything that had been repped. Roof gets a bad rap. He was known as a "halftime adjustment" guy at AU but that isn't accurate. One example... I drove to Logan/Utah State in 2011(?) and recorded all their plays and formations right down to their special teams formations and coverages from their last scrimmage a week before game week, and passed it on to Trooper. Apparently Chizik shitcanned the whole defensive approach, again as prep was already done. So the Roof "halftime adjustment" guru emerges from Chizik usually saying at halftime, "...hey do what was prepped and coached."

For you guys out there that have a different impression, coaches are usually simple-minded morons that wouldn't cut it in your industry. That's why they usually fail outside of this high-paid racket. I don't know Luke or Jacksonville25 but I'd hire them before any of these assholes we're taling about and not look back if it were up to me.

I live here so I am in no matter who is coaching or who we are playing.

I was at the last Auburn vs Northwestern bowl game. The game was miserable as it was very cold and rainy. The game itself was amazing.

Fire Steele.

We may never know the truth, but if even a fraction of the rumors are true then there’s no way Steele is retained.

I immediately thought we will lose this game but then I looked at Northwesterns 2020 results. They barely beat a lot of bad teams....

Citrus bowl "Zonies" in the early 80s, that was a heck of a month long party.
