Oh yeah, I've researched it. I can't believe my buddy didn't reserve 6 tickets, the max, when they were only $5. What's the big difference in $10 vs. $30. Imagine having 4 extra tickets to sell...you'd pay your entire trip and have plenty of extra.

A lot of 2010 revolved around hundreds of people getting scammed and it created a huge demand hours before the game in the smallest stadium when the demand was already low.

Bama-UT had big drops in prices according to their fans in the week before the game. I don't see FSU-AU having a significantly higher demand that will keep the prices where they are at

The demand might be lower for a couple of reasons

1) FSU and Auburn are flying through the same airports (We did not have to compete for flights with Oregon Folks)

2) We just went

3) Bigger Venue

anybody know anything about vividseats.com?
are they reputable?

I've heard they're reputable, but their fees are ridiculous.

Stubhub prices are dropping pretty quickly. Current low of $700, when yesterday it was closer to $900. A lot of the new supply is coming in at the under $900 range as well.

Ticket prices are already beginning to fall. I am not worried. I am thinking about waiting till after kickoff. If I don't see anything close to face value

it was the ticket brokers overselling on stubhub. Stubhub has the guarantee. So they were trying to buy back the tickets they had already sold to people at a lesser value for twice what they paid. then it all spiraled from there. People were being offered large sums from stubhub, so they raised their asking prices and so on.

Combine that with the AU fans traveling and the Oregon fans and it created a perfect storm

I live here so I'm just going to drive to the game and buy tix outside if possible. If not I'll just watch at a bar.

If I see the tix go down even further, I will buy online.

Good Luck Fellas!

I'm not sure. I am in Huntsville for the holidays now until the 3rd so I won't be able to try that. I didn't even know that was possible though.

Stub Hub charges 10% to the buyer so %715 for the $650 price..

Also 15% to the Seller so they net only $552.50

You can get 2 on vividseats for $909,950 apiece.

Service fees are $136,550 for each ticket.

But the bastards are charging another $14.95 for delivery, so I'm not buying out of principle.

Make sure you keep up with fees from the different sites too. You can put tickets in your cart and not checkout to see what they're charging.

vivdseats still has tickets at $562
