Kirby Smart response:
There is no diminishing of a rivalry. I tend to agree with coach [Hugh] Freeze. It's not about hate for me. I don't look at it as 'I hate any of their players.' I recruited a lot of them. I don't look at it and say 'I hate any of their coaches' because I like a lot of their coaches. I've known all those guys for a long time. I have a lot of respect for Hugh. I look at it as a hell of a fierce rivalry and that's really why you do this business.

Fairley had a hand in that .....I look for an English Bulldog to kick the week of the Georgia game.

Kirby says he doesn’t hate Auburn. Just like I said Saban doesn’t hate Auburn. Doesn’t change a thing. Missing the point.
Kirby is known for drumming up the hate in the locker room. Gus’ “beat the dog shite out of them” was definitely used in the rematch.

For the most part, coaches are just hired guns. Does an assassin hate the person they're hired to kill? No. They just go and do their job.
Leave all the hating up to the fanbases.
