Did we really play well against UK? They had a TD not given and the game was tight until an unforced fumble and botched fake punt gave us the ball inside the 30. It was a fine win but the danger signs were obvious.

“Well” was probably the wrong word but my point was that the talent differential between Kentucky made that game easy despite the coaching deficiency

UGA recruits at the highest level and the coaching deficiency really shows in this one the last 15 years

Your QB is the most important position followed by the OL. I would really all it 1a & 1b. Gus has flat out failed at recruiting OL. I think he gets recruited negatively against big time by other programs because our offense and specifically our blocking schemes aren’t something you’d see at the next level. The OL that make it to the NFL have to be completely retrained.

Benn saying this for year too. Maybe now you all can see it. There is no talent on this team. And the talent we do get usually gets run off quickly. Meanwhile you all think a midget is a good back because of 4stars.

Can we all agree that there is no talent in this post. We have an idiot for an author who hopefully gets run oft quickly.

Here goes Captain Bitchagain and his hot takes. It doesn’t have a thing to do with coaching and lack of recruiting in the trenches, right?!

I’m pissed that we are still Georgia’s bitch but let’s not stump down to Kentucky’s talking points. We had a TD taken off the board too. Probably a safety too.

The most obvious being that the talent is at the skill positions, not the lines.

And look at our game last night.

GA returned 8 Defensive starters. We started 4 OL playing only their 2nd game, 1st away from home.

That right there is a disaster.

We started a totally new DL. GA always has good quality linemen. It showed. We were bulldozed right off the bat.

Beaten in the trenches on both sides of the ball, will never win you a game, much less compete.

But saying all that, it is on the HC to make sure we have continuity in the lines.

Gus to all of us, has shown we have been poor recruiters on the OL.

That's not the 4 letter word I was thinking about.

But it is Sunday...so Amen is acceptable.

I mean it's a legitimate point. An obvious TD not given in a tight game is a big deal. Our TD taken off the board was directly after theirs so not really apples to apples.

Definitely should have been reviewed.

Yes my main point is that our lines were not good against Kentucky but they didn't have the talent to completely expose it. There are probably 4 teams left on our schedule that do.

Spot on Jones.

There is s need which seems to escape this coaching staff's capability. Year in and year out we face the same level of excuses for line development. Year in and year out the capability of the line play grows as the season grows.

Coaches can take raw talent and develop it to the best of that individual's capability. Even in instances when the first assessment is that the player doesn't have a that talent. The coach must have the talent himself to recognize the short coming and how to correct that. Apparently our line coach can't react quickly enough. Time to rethink that coach.

There are pictures circulating showing the TD wasn’t obvious at all. Actually showing he didn’t score.

From JGT:
quote:

Auburn's loss to UGA last night? PFF has that as the lowest-graded single game performance of the Malzahn era.

A TEAM GRADE OF 46.5. Team grade. The entire team averages out at 46.5. On a scale of 0-100.

Auburn's average team grade last season was 72.7.

(The worst single-game performance prior to this was a 55.9 grade for the 52-21 loss at Ala in 2018.)

He also said Alec Jackson and Brodarius Hamm had sub 40 grades.
