I don't hate Brohm.
Brohm facts:
Age 51
WKU record (8-5, 12-2, 10-3)
This is his 6th year at Purdue. While he has hovered around .500, he does have them 1st in the West this season. He won't win the conference, but still a nice feat for Purdue (not a great job).
Brohm was a professional QB, so that might be a draw to some extent.
Brahm was who Petrino hired as a QB coach (at more than one stop), so he learned from the great Bobby P.
Saban tried to hire Brohm as OC at Bama during his first year in 2007. Brohm turned the job down, which he later said he regrets.
I don't hate it.

For the Freeze is the GOAT coach crowd, why has every program over the last 6 years stepped directly over that turd without even a sniff? Only select Auburn fans look down and see a diamond? The only problem I have with Brohm is he doesn’t like to run the ball. Had Penn State on the ropes and let them come back, because he didn’t run the clock out. He’s an excellent coach though.
