And Freeze will be there if Cohen strikes out on 10 more candidates, so there’s no rush to hire him.

He knew this when he interviewed him. It was in his best interest to get a different coach at OM when he was at State. Now he's looking at the best coach to win at Auburn. He's doing his job both ways but a hypocrite none the less.

One of my closest friends lives in Lynchburg and has had multiple dealings with the school. It is everything you think it is

Like what? At the end of the day it’s best to leave pot stirrers alone. I’ve seen innocent public service workers get cameras thrown in their face and some people react horribly (get that camera out of my face !) and they get fired and I’ve seen others “polite, boring and say I don’t know a lot” and they live to keep a job. From my understanding that chick was working w/ a documentary with HBO or some shite. He should’ve stayed away.

Not at all. It wasn’t smart to message the accuser. That’s it. He screwed up. His message could have had legal ramifications. I’ve been less hard on Freeze for this than other things- forcing a high school girl to change a shirt in front of him, multiple years of infidelity, etc, so you should keep that in mind as well. But still, he fricked up with the message. And the whole Jesus part didn’t land. After knowing his history it will never land.
I never said messaging her was smart or the right thing to do. Only that I could see why he did. Simply defending his boss who I'm sure he considers a friend. He didn't blast her on Twitter. He messed up and sent her a private message. Mountain out of a molehill. She voluntarily went to a school that is very Christian based with a very strict conduct code. The Jesus part is probably a drop in the bucket compared to what she heard on a daily basis as a student. She was publicy judging a stranger, due to where he worked before coming to Liberty. Freeze simply called her out on that. But in the #Metoo society we live in, alleged victims are given carte blanche to say whatever they want, and how dare anyone call them out. Only baton-twirling, pussy-hat wearers would make a big deal out of that message.

But after the fans believe it ain't him in a day or 2 then Cohen will be on the clock and they will be on him to hire someone. Plus he can't just turn back around and hire him if the anti-freeze fans think he's out of it. Plus the longer he waits the bigger a hire he is going to be expected to get. He thinks social media and his emails are bad now.

Someone on 247 posted we are moving forward beyond Freeze due to backlash. I don’t have access but a screenshot was sent to me. I don’t know how to upload here so if someone has 247 please share with the peasants.

If bad judgement were against the law, I'm the only one on this thread that wouldn't be in prison

Everyday that goes by is a day a coach can’t be on the phone with transfers, recruits or some of our own players we need to keep.

Guys… hey guys. I don’t think we are hiring a coach at 11pm.

Let’s relax some and let Cohen do what. He was hired to do. If he fricks it up it’s on him

Jang is just throwing thing at the wall to see if they'll stick. He's pretty clueless.

The real reason for the outcry is, you don't ever challenge any accuser for any reason. Their word is gospel, no matter what they say.

I’d rather take a week to get the right long-term guy than a day to get a quick-fix bandaid guy.

I'd be pulling consecutive life terms!!

The thing about growing older is you are supposed to learn from past mistakes. Seems like Freeze has, Kiffin not so much.

I don't even listen if they get paid to do an interview or wait 10 years to come out. Til out of school maybe but not that long. Once you are of age and out of the situation then there is no excuse to wait.

Are you talking about like the Duke lacrosse team. They kept their mouths shut. Thankfully the truth came out for them.

I have no clue what went on at Liberty but if Freeze didn’t do it himself why does it matter. Freeze makes poor choices if he’s hired I hope Rich sits him down to have a man to man talk with him.

If this is true this will apply to all candidates and we are absolutely positively fricked. Cohen won’t last here and neither will his Google hire.

If we’ve had a month and Lane and Freeze were top 2 and all we had going, Cohen and our crew are every bit as dumb as I think they are.
