It’s like the NFL draft at this point you take the best available player and that’s Freeze. You sack up and do it for the good of the program. Morals clauses out the arse in the contract to calm the wokes down. The other option appears to be hire a Harsin 2.0 type and pray it works out.

But I just have a feeling the crap about him releasing freeze's name to see the reaction (if true) sounds like an excuse to blame the fans when we end up with a nobody hire. It will just make us look even worse with the next after we fire them. We already have a bad enough rep for running off coaches.

To be fair on the Kiffin thing I believe he was wanting to keep an almost non existent. buyout like he has at OM and we said no. He wasn’t willing to give in, which means he wasn’t willing to commit long term.

All of that is fine and I appreciate the business savvy move to walk away from a contract that isn’t beneficial to auburn.
But to then have nobody after that? It’s fricking crazy and a very bad way to do business.
