No, but Kiffin is 100% out of it now. He is posting to Twitter this morning saying he was never leaving, etc. I don't see a guy doing that if he was leaving. Tweeting is different than being asked questions by reporters.
Freeze seems to be the logical choice and several outlets are reporting he is "in talks" right now with AU.

Was he ever in it? Was Sexton just working his magic? Is Sexton Freeze’s agent too? It’s apparent that the media has been throwing stuff against the wall, seeing if anything sticks.
I mean, I think that Freeze would be a Bruce Pearl type hire. I think that he’s hungry and would be incredibly loyal to Auburn. I’m just not sure I believe the media.

Plus Auburn isn't going to announce this close to the game after waiting this long.
The bad thing is if Freeze and Auburn are still in negotiations they may not have it worked out for a few more days. You would think they would have the 2nd guy worked out too.

ESPN is scrolling that Auburn is in talks with Hugh Freeze and nothing will be announced till after the IB.

All media have been saying them 2 from the start. They just had Prime at first.
Half of us on here could guess and say most they have posted. The rest you could stalk the people involved on social media and looked right. The only exception would be if we hire an off the wall person like Harsin last time.

Wanted to chime in on the circus this good day.
I won’t melt if we hire Freeze. It’ll be just ok. But, if the reasoning for not going after Prime was the failed prep school thing and then we hire Freeze, well, then that is just the bullsh!t of all bullsh!t.
