quote:It should definitely be attached to his buyout. But I imagine it would leave him open to fire with cause. But if he is dumb enough to repeat his mistakes given a second chance then he doesn't want a big job. Nothing has came out of liberty so he may have wised up.
If this goes down, Freeze will have much loyalty as AU granted him a second chance at the big boys table. Morality clause in the contract should be an easy fix. This is all about the $ and how AU can make more out of less.

Why does it matter what we pay him?
Well, heck. Let's just pay him $15m then.

Well shite! Why don't we just hire Bo Jackson or Charles Barkley? Both are icons, very loyal to Auburn, and the same amount of experience coaching at a FBS school.
I require no proof from you that your dumb posts can get even dumber.

His unofficial record isn’t even special. Color me unimpressed.
quote:you fricking kidding me? how long have you been following football? He was on probation until 2012 i believe. Hell, his self reported violations included paying players and he never got in trouble for it. NCAA and the SEC office let bama slide on their cheating which led to paying players with NIL. Only smaller schools got hammered and made an example of....Ole miss being one of them.
When did Saban ever get his team put on probation?

When did Saban ever get his team put on probation? Probation and wins expunged are two different things.

Freeze got wins expunged. Saban won multiple national championships in that time frame. Stop pushing an amateur on me.

For today, Auburn has lost and Cohen has failed miserably.
With UA, UGA, LSU, and UT all at or undoubtedly trending to high levels, Auburn needed to capture an opportunity for a spark.

We're gonna be a 8 to 9 win team every year until we grow some balls and hire a good coach. I don't think that'll ever happen

FYI hugh freeze ain't winning at auburn yet.
Saban can get away with alot more than fricking freeze can. Saban could murder a baby on national TV and it'd get swept under the rug.

Just because you guys keep saying this doesn't mean it's true. It's way beyond being "unfaithful 10 years ago" and you know it.
