Ive said it before, Kiffin would be my first choice due to perceptions but Freeze to me is the better fit and coach.

Freeze is a very good coach and the fit is even better than what it would have been with Kiffin, I've said this from the beginning. He'll win here if it's him.
But we lose 1000% on the perception front. We had Kiffin done and now the story-line will be that he chose Ole Miss instead and we were forced to settle on Freeze.
There's no other way to paint this other than that Cohen bungled it.

Every coach in the ncaa has beaten teams that they shouldn’t have. It happens every year. Freeze was 39-25 at ole miss with 1 10 win season. He’s not a world beater by any means and auburn can do much better.
