The guy was in the running to be USCe HC in 2020 after being Florida OC. What we need is a solid coach that will work his arse off.

He also interviewed for the Boise State job. I don't want him but I can see Cohen making a hire like that. I am not sold on Cohen until he proves me wrong.

I just want us to win. I know he loses his share of random games but I let their personal lives stay that. I know he lost to Memphis and uconn but he has shown he has a high ceiling beating teams like Bama and even Arky with liberty players. I just like that he makes his whole team (defense too) better. All the extras that were claimed we could use to make Kiffin better at Auburn could do the same for him. He may still lose random games like Gus but I would like to see what he could do with Auburn's assets and talent compared with what he did at OM and liberty.

I want to know what he sees as a fit for Auburn like he says he was looking for.

Johnson seems very intelligent. I heard he impressed during the interview. He might be a future star. He is.just an unknown right now. He has never been a head coach and I think Auburn needs a proven head coach with some big program experience (other than James Franklin). That is just my opinion.

Great careers have to start somewhere.
