But did you watch the game? Refs need to be investigated (not just this game but all season. The shenanigans are way more than coincidence and I am beginning to wonder if Sankey condones this trash because nothing gets done about it.
I don't get why everyone wants to make excuses for all his flaws and blame everyone else and say it's just going to be better when he comes to Auburn. He doesn't even coach his defensive guys. It's like he only cares about half his team. Auburn of all people should know you aren't going to just throw a coordinator there to fix it and forget it. Auburn will never have a complete team with him and will never compete Bama, UGA, and probably not LSU. But we can hang our hats on how many yards we had a game and we rank in rushing instead of wins and making the playoffs.

I agree with all that.
I don’t want to hire him without keeping Carnell.
I want Carnell motivating these guys.
Lane can’t relate to a brick. But he is a flat out magician with QBs.
Lane, a DC like Muschamp or Pruitt with Carnell still on staff would COMPLETELY take the SEC by storm.

He has also beat Arkansas (which Lane obviously couldn't), came in with in 1 of WF (who Clemson only beat by 5), beat BYU worse than even Oregon could and all by using a UAB level roster and random backup QB's. That makes Kiffin's claim to getting lots of yards look silly.
But Kiffin needs a great DC, Auburn to buy him more talent than OM has, him to quit making dumb calls, and just hope it makes him good enough to compete with teams above him.

Welpers is what Freeze does well. He lost to Memphis at Ole Miss. Auburn fended him off every year minus 2015. Freeze having one signature win a season is great for a one game season. He lost to Wake Forest and UConn this year.
Freeze is [rightfully so] our backup plan to Lane.

I'd say it's a little more than that. Ole Miss doesn't offer him a new contract without a reason imo. Also, he wouldn't say he wasn't taking the job at his presser last night. It's all circumstantial, sure, but there's a LOT of smoke it seems.

Freeze has no leverage in Liberty while begging for the job. No AD is scared Freeze won’t be available soon. He is at pitiful Liberty which is fitting for the punishment he put on Ole Miss. The only leverage he has is the religious right that wants our players singing Kumbaya. The best thing for Freeze is
1. Kiffin spurns Lane and he lucks up.
2. He leaves for a more respectable program like Houston and starts over. There is no respect in his program, Liberty.

They’re clean fun. Some here just troll and I have to know if there is much substance behind their post. Alpine said Utah would “bend Nix’s face mask” so I gave him opportunity to put his money where his mouth is.
