With NIL the field is leveling for Saban and Bama. Ask the AFC East how good Saban was with a salary cap and a level field.

All I’m saying is the next guy will still probably acquire a good roster. As long as the expectations are there the resources spigot stays on too.

Lots of buzz about Lane and Freeze. All talk of Prime has gone quiet. These so called “insiders” don’t know shite and are most often used as diversions. Don’t be shocked when it is Primetime in Auburn.

I'll be glad when this is over. This is worse than recruiting. All the sites and "insiders" just guessing at everything and trying to act like they know something for subscribers or build reputation. It's worse now with a new AD. Now there are so many they are watering down the boards with their predictions and you can't tell if anyone did know anything.

This coaching search has been pretty boring compared to most Auburn coaching searches. I haven’t heard Dell McGee or Bobby Petrino mentioned once.

I might channel my inner teenager when we miss on Lane. I'll buy a pack of Marlboros & some longnecks, drive to some abandoned warehouse, blaring break up songs, chain-smoking and smash beer bottles. Okay so here's what i've been hearing:
Option #1: Auburn get's him for a huge contract after the IB. Talks will ramp up the week of the IB.
Option #2 - Ole Miss gives him a contract extension and he agrees to it. All this talk about him coming to the plains was a facade from the very start.

A lot of people think this could be Sexton’s work and Cohen is allowing the distraction so he can work behind the scenes.

Yeah there will be an uproar, at least I hope. If he hires grimes I would’ve rather him given Coach Lac a shot. That would make no sense.
