James Franklin is a complete "no go" right?
I need some reassurance.
The current vibe of the Pres and AD says this wouldn't happen, but you know James Franklin is now trying to reset his clock (as they now say), hard.
Can't fully trust the Pres and AD yet. Although I love the Pres's actions so far.

I am really coming around on Freeze. He is killing it at Liberty and absolutely dominated BYU last week (41-17). He is on his way to turning Liberty into the next Cinci or Boise (ha). He has got Power 5 level players on his roster.
I also watched a couple of his Liberty pressers. He has changed and doesn't seem as "irritating" as he once was.
If Freeze is hired, I will be happy. Won't be as big of a splash as Deion (who is) but would still be a splash and a massive upgrade. And he can be had for cheaper than Lane and we know he wouldn't hesitate to take the job (whereas Lane might).

Freezus has a pattern of devastatingly stupid decisions off the field, coupled with an iffy record on it. Take away his two fluke wins against Bama 7-8 years ago and he’d be an afterthought.

I didn't want Freeze at first, but I'm starting to think he could do what Bruce has done in basketball. Was it you that said he really wants the Auburn job?
