BP visited with Jim Rome which will air tomorrow. He also talked some basketball with LA Clippers head coach Doc Rivers. Later in the day he made the trip to Dodger Stadium and got his picture with Don Mattingly, Tommy Lasorda, and the one and only Yasiel Puig.

Auburn hasn't played in Los Angeles in any sports since at least before 2002 so maybe Pearl can get a trend going and play some hoops out there?

It'd be great for recruiting if we could get a game out there (against someone we could be competitive with)

I don't think the Lakers or Clippers play powerhouse college programs just to save face

Lakers
Kobe isn't growing any new ligaments anytime soon, so I don't really consider them competition

Clippers
Don't want to play them with the color omitted cloud floating over that franchise.

Maybe we can get the USA National team together in Cali for an exhibition game

It's awesome to see the exposure he can get!

I think maybe we look into WC cities that have larger than normal Auburn alumni and try to find a close basketball program.

Any cities come to mind? I know a few Auburn alumni in the San Fran area...is there a large Auburn crowd there?
