Do we have a backup QB at this point with TJ and Calzada out?

I forgot about Davis

#METOO

Out of curiosity I went back (247) and looked at the grades on all of the QBs we have on roster compared to Davis. It looks like even though he was short Dee Davis was the highest graded QB we had before he transferred (Excluding Nix).

DD .92
HG .91
RA .90
ZC .88
TJF .87

Yeah he had phenomenal stats out of high school but he was on one of Texas’s best and most loaded teams at north shore. He actually was rated much higher until his camp performances and measurements slid him down

He looks good on tape. Sometimes i think too much stock is put into a guys size. Several QBs have proven that a small guy can succeed and and several tall guys (TJ) have proven that just because you have the size and arm doesn't mean you will be successful. Too bad he didn't hang around, I'm sure he would have gotten a shot this year.

Not sure I’m willing to go find it but I pointed out that his pressers might get annoying over time

I absolutely remember that.

I just think people were looking for something to hope for. Maybe if he talks better, he will be better? Who knows.

I have never cared how the coach passes along information. You basically are going to get what he wants you to get. Doesnt matter how it is delivered. I have never been a guy who needed things sugar coated

I like Harsin, I think he can be a good coach. I just dont think he is ready for this job. I do like the fact that he will tell the press to kick sand but he has not earned that right yet

Davis looked decent in his debut for ASU. He was dropping dimes on the long ball.
