I’ve been a crappy bowl games before. Sat in the stands and waved shakers and watched Auburn win. That excitement lasts for about 15 minutes.
trust me, more times than not, the carryover into the next season is coincidental.

I am more concerned about having another NMSU kind of loss next season then showing up and win an Iron Bowl or against Uga.

With the expanded playoff, we can probably shake off a loss like NMS with a win over Bama or UGA or especially both. Just get in and then it is in our hands (like basketball).

I'm 53 and I have a finite amount of time left. (Numerous friends and relatives didn't make it this far.) I'll take all the Auburn football and Yankees baseball I can get before I go.

Got a box full of ticket stubs going back to the 80's. (concert, sports,etc..)
Been to a few games.
Was in the stands as students sang the Alma Mater after the '82 uga game.
I'm not telling anyone what to watch. Just offering my 2 cents.

I still stand by what I have been saying for 3-4 years. I won’t care about bowl games until the players do. When they start caring about the games I will start caring again.

I watched the 1st half. Or most of it. I saw what I needed to see to realize I was right all along.

Which is what happened. I omitted getting blown out. Missed that part.
But the players got a great swag bag, had a real fun trip, and we got that great recruiting class incoming, so it's all good.
