You needed his true freshman games to help make your silly point
Sad!
How’s Robby doing?

That was not his freshman year against South Carolina.
Yet, you’re talking about Ashford’s first start with far worse talent and play calling (never knew someone could call plays worse than Gus, but here we are) surrounding him. Sad!

Hate that Bo left but forever thankful for the LSU win last year. He willed us to that one.
I dont blame him at all. Not at all. He absolutely made the right call. He put himself in the best position. It was obvious to a lot of people that Auburn was headed towards a downward spiral. Why chance your career on that.
Unless you are not paying attention, he did the right thing. He would not have stood a chance here and now he has a chance to better his career and grow.
The "Auburn" faithful are going to have to accept one day that Auburn football is a mess. It always has some kind of major drama going on with it and there are better options. It has hurt our ability to bring in good coaches in the past and it will until they get some kind of control of the fricked up mess they always seem to get themselves into
I am happy for Bo and will be pulling for him regardless of where he goes. Just as I will any player who played here and gave Auburn what they had but left due to the Auburn frickery that we all know is there

Ashford left the pass happy friendly confines of Oregon for Auburn because Bo arrived and he knew our backwards offense is the only place he could see the field. He sought his crutch.
You are the one who mentioned 2019.

Pat Nix knew he needed to leave after seeing Gus recruit OL and WR

Auburn2Eugene flat out said before Bo even signed with Auburn if Pat loved his son he’d make his son go elsewhere. He got a lot of shite, but he was right.

I think it was so much more than that but if that makes you guys feel better, carry on.
The constant drama is exhausting to most. Especially the people who it directly affects.

446 yards passing on a comeback win. Horrible QB

What happened to “real weight room” “bigger” “faster” “stronger”
linemen in their 5th and 6th years are worse??

I had my very well documented disagreements with several of my Auburn brothers here, about the next coach choice. But, if this experiment, with hiring our current coach has showed me anything, we have to after someone with bigtime, college football experience. Crossing your fingers, hoping and praying the guy without that experience, has been an absolute disaster. There isn't a lot of time, to grow into the job. Gus and Harsin has our program approaching the dark days that TN went thru.

Nix just brought Oregon back to go ahead of WSU with 1 min left. Two touchdowns in 2 mins 33 for 44. 428 yards
Nice numbers and comeback win. As I have said before, Nix is where he needed to be to get an opportunity to show his abilities. I always loved watching him compete. He always gave his very best even when he wasn’t feeling it. Never publicly called out anything or anyone that I can remember. He’s throwing down and when you see him balling it makes it very clear why he needed to go.
