I am honestly shocked Auburn allows the QB to go on a bama hosted radio show every week to talk - seemingly unscripted.
Auburn has no choice. The weekly interview is part of his NIL deal. I am sure the coaches hate this aspect of NIL as they've traditionally had tight control over player's media appearances.

As much as I have been defending Bo lately I actually disagree with him on that he did his job Saturday. Or that he played pretty good. Does he understand why Auburn needed a spark from elsewhere? He should still start but my faith in Bo is dwindling. He is lucky there aren’t better QB candidates on the roster.

I have said that Bo will start on Saturday and I still believe that. I also believe he is hurt (Shoulder from PSU game). TJ scored a TD in 4 possessions. (25% scoring), but he was hurt by a missed FG and a fumble by tank.
Bo took us to 4 FGS in in the first five possessions of the half. (He made mistakes, but so did the team). We did move the ball
Second half 2 possessions.
(1) Tank for a yard (2) Pass for 7 (3) Tank loses 3 on 3rd and 2 (Punt, not Bo's fault)
Next Possession. Bo for 21 yards to Jackson on first down. (1) Then three straight incompletes.
WE block the punt. The decision was made to bench him down 5.
JJ (Mostly running drive with Hunter), 1 of 2 pass completed (Missed FG)
Second JJ drive (Sacked, no first down)
Third JJ drive (JJ 1 of 3), the running game was moving, but we fumbled.
NOW THE MONEY DRIVE: Not sure we score if the Shenker call was correct. Missed two receivers before making a play on 4th down. (So 4 of 9 if ruled correctly, 5 of 8 calling it a catch).
Lets not believe that TJ is the savior because of one throw on 4th down.

My kid played with and against Bo in baseball for a couple of years. Great kid with great parents.
The facts were undeniable. Regardless of how the other players were playing, he still was not playing very well. If Finely went in a shite the bed, he'd be vindicated, but that didn't happen. Finely came in, played as good, if not better, and sparked the team and we ended up with win. At the end of the day, we accomplished what we set out to do.

I’m honestly so ready for us to go play LSU Saturday. I fricking hate internal drama. Give me the drama from the opposition whether we get our arse whipped or the other way around be it with Bo leading the charge or Finley

So he was pulled because he was hurt. Right.

Anyone can say anything negative they want. Bo couldn’t lead us to that winning drive if he wanted to. Please don’t bring up Oregon 2 years ago with a pass he threw up for grabs. He didn’t have it Saturday and hasn’t had it in a long time.

I didn’t say it was the “wrong” play you idiot but it’s not like that was a difficult throw. That was really the only time I can remember that he led us on a game winning drive and I’m pretty sure he couldn’t have done it Saturday because he didn’t do anything the whole game. He would have had 3 throw aways on the final drive alone.

I may have missed but I don’t think I have seen one person call TJ the savior so not sure why you felt you needed to throw it in.
I am not sure what to think of him yet. He lacks touch on throws that require it. I personally don’t feel we have an elite QB. I’m more worried about how the OL looked Saturday.

quote:Nix is an above average QB. Not great. His supporting cast is also above average, not great. Tank is great but fumbles like Mario Fannin. That makes him above average. Hunter might be the best of the bunch. Our recievers are TBD and I'm glad the guys like Cannion that Corn didn't like are going to be playing.

Nix was pretty good with fades and go up and get it balls when he had taller Seth Williams. Let’s see. Seth tore Georgia up in 2019. He tore Kentucky up. Mississippi State. And others. However, before you criticize Bo any further about the past remember his OL, his coach, and that Sean White said without a full route tree QBs stood back there looking foolish because they had nowhere to go with the ball.
Surely you don’t think all of those demons would just go away. Talent surrounding him is just as bare as ever before except at running back yet we insist on schemes that don’t account for personnel strengths. He really needs more coaching by Bobo.
The receivers don’t go get the ball. Hudson is developing but not a good 1. Shenker is consistent but doesn’t get separation. One play Saturday he hit Shenker in stride on a 20 yard pass near the goal line I swear that ball would’ve split Shenker’s hands where Shenker wanted the ball to be but the defender just slapped it away anyway. I don’t know what you want Bo to do there.

Number 17 needs to be in the lineup. Great size and hands
