the number of dropped passes is inexcusable. high school teams catch the ball better than this squad

The reason there is a disagreement anytime someone shouts to bench Bo is quite simple.. ..

Finley is a over rated 6'5" giant that was benched at LSU and hasn't performed well enough on the field to take over. Finley is a bigger problem than a Bo hitting receiver after receiver that drops passes.

The Finely drive was not a work of art by any means ....It was a cluster as well. Apparently in practice which not one of us can see week in and week out, Finley stinks that field up as well.

That is the middle ground.

It’s amazing how soft rub routes can create open receivers yet I haven’t seen any for Auburn.
We run them but our WRs don't execute them well. Tried to run one yesterday in the redzone...

Watching Bryce Young in his first year throwing great balls makes me think Bo is not an MVP.
You might think differently if Bo was a freshman on that team. You might be surprised..

I will be glad when the Bo Nix era/saga/drama is over and we have moved on.

Bo.Nix would be MVP if his WR could catch. Alas, let's blame the QB.

What a shotty INT...oh wait, that was shivers fault. Nvd.

No he wouldn't. Come on man. :)

He still overthrows WRs at times. And on that non interference call in the EZ...Look at the pass as it's coming into Capers. The ball is not outfront ofthe WR so he can grab it, or the DB can't get his hand on it without going through the WR. The ball comes into his left shoulder area. Not bad, but not great either, as it looked to be a little behind where it needed to go. As such, the DB was able to get his hand out to bat it away, which I think is why the ref didn't call it PI, as the contact was minimal and he got his hand on it.

Anyway Bo is not an MVP. He's athletic, he can get out of trouble, but I still saw at least 1 or twice he escaped the pocket even though it was a pretty good pocket for him to step up and deliver the ball.

Now he made some nice throws too, and his WRs definitely hurt our momentum at times.

Bo broke his own consecutive passes without an interception record so his floor is very high.

But we don’t want quality players that will run miles during the game if that gives us a chance to win. We don’t want a QB that takes care of the football. We don’t want character.

We want that brand new guy on the sidelines. The LSU quitter. The guy that literally does nothing better than Bo. We want to take our shot in the Pandora box, but never can it be Bo.

That's a bit harsh. Ha.

Usually everyone wants the back-up because you don't see them enough to know they have glaring issues. We've seen TJ and I am thankful he made the plays to pull out Ga State...but it was anything but reassuring that he'll ever help Auburn in a meaningful way.

Our Oline is not that bad. Put Bo behind any Oline out there and I guarantee you he starts running for his life in circles and throwing sidearm missiles with the least bit of pressure

Our OL isn’t bad when it comes to Bo’s mistakes.

But it’s horrible when it comes to Tank and Hunter. Is that right?

Stidham had similar issues to Bo...I was hoping it had more to the predictability of Gus' schemes but in truth it's a talent issue. I knew it but was hopeful. I can't get that play out of my mind when Bo ducked from a phantom pass rusher...I bet his brain would look like scrambled eggs if you could project it on to a tv screen at this point in his career. He may have been destined to have the issues he has now, but the pathetic system he walked into in college did him no favors. Then add the murders row schedule where you are the least talented team on the field about 5 times a year and we have what we have.

Our best qb talent/potential imo is DD who has yet to be given any game reps. I hope Bo is not automatically the stater next season. We need a mobile QB, an accurate passer with a strong arm to throw long, and one that can see open receivers.
