He fumbled two out of the first three times he carried the ball and cost us a TD against Ole Miss.

According to SECstatcat, Shivers has one of the lowest success rates in running the ball in the conference. I think today was a keep Shivers out of the portal game though.

Ive said it all season, he is a gimmick back. He has some potential to do some wild things due to his speed and toughness but he just cant be a big contributor. It has to be Whitlow, DJ and Tank coming in. Joiner looked good too. Its going to be a hard rotation to break. Id be very surprised if he does not leave after the season.

On a totally different note, who also yelled when Cord and Will Appleton got to throw the ball yesterday? We were screaming for both of them. It was awesome to see them get some playing time and how well they both did.
Will Appelton has probably endured some serious shite playing on our scout team all these years. Good that he got to play yesterday and throw a few passes around..

Absolutely right about Burcham. He gets player names wrong and yardage wrong and lacks passion in his calls. I stopped listening to the broadcast because Im watching the game and his play by play is wrong or lacking information to the point that it is annoying. Nice man but in the wrong job.

I have only listened to him a few times and I do agree but lets not forge that he was thrown in that position pretty quick. Not sure he was ready for it.
