It’s not a fail just because an older child has issues and someone raises issues of his kids. Half the business leaders of this country would be a fail.
It would be a fail if that person allowed his adult kids to interfere with his job performance, and that doesn’t appear to be the case in his current job.

Some of you either don’t have kids or have no idea what it would be like to be in the position.
My daughter is now almost 14. She recently told me that she likes girls and it’s unlikely that I’ll ever have a natural born grandchild.
Personally this utterly disgusts me, pisses me off, and makes me as sad as I’ve ever been all from one sentence out of her mouth.
Does this mean I am going to shun her like parents did in the 50s? No. No matter if my daughter likes cock or pussy she is still my daughter and I love her as much as I did before she told me that…
Exactly what is this guy supposed to say/do? Completely ostracize his child?

Will it matter a year from now? Probably not, but imagine being Pres. Roberts and working backchannels to land a guy with SEC experience who won a CWS and set multiple high water marks for another SECW school, only to have the entire thing immediately tarnished because Hoke claimed we're taking a guy who was getting fired from lowly MSU.
Given the situation at AU, alignment, fan support, all that, that type of shoddy reporting impacts the entire initial perception.
