It’s not about being understanding of people’s beliefs. If a person is so inclined to attack based on identity or orientation then they’re incapable of representing Auburn well, they’re a walking lawsuit, and should be kicked off.

At the end of the day, humans want to be associated with people they accept. Introduce someone in a position of authority and superiority, like a coach or HIS BOSS, that is the opposite of the subordinates beliefs, then you have the makings of a problem.
You can espouse all the "this is how it should be" shite all you want, but all that is out the window when you are dealing with 18-20 y/o kids who didn't exactly come up in an environment of two wore parents. Hell, your guy Sanders was just visited by Snoop Dog. Want to go down that road of what his views are?

If you’re worried about an incident with our football team only because they see a tranny then I’m more worried about the character of our football team. Who teaches that kind of behavior?

Why are you putting words in my mouth when all I’m saying is don’t fearmonger a transsexual being around the football team unless you think you have a bunch of insensitive thugs on the football team incapable of making the wiser move and ignoring her or him. Nevermind the fact they’d be messing with the AD’s kid which is already numbskulled enough.
Mturbo, thanks man. I’m sure we will disagree many times later, but I hope this means we at least agree bullying based on sexual identity or mental illness (if you will) isn’t cool.

Added a keyword you left out. It was a general statement. I have a 6 year old an 8 year old and they will be taught to strike in self defense. They are already being taught to be friendly to everyone, no matter their differences. It doesn’t take a devout Christian to follow the golden rule; it takes some humanity.

I can only imagine that being in high school band allowed you to be around people who were a lot more accepting, but let me let you in on something. Male sports locker rooms aren't exactly a place for questioning your sexuality or gender. Now throw in the FACT that a great majority of players recruited, come from a culture where that acceptance in just above the Islamic religion. Think having an AD with a tranny kid might be a problem?
I'm not debating the idea of right or wrong, just stating the reality of the situation. I love bacon, and a lot other people do too. But I'm about to try opening a BLT sandwich shup in Iran.

All I see is a bunch of red herrings, strawmen, and fluff. So there will be no problems toward the AD’s daughter. Got it! And, no, you dumb frick you get in the carpet business because they get on their knees to pray 5x a day.
