Lot of people wanted 98 yard drive because Bo was inaccurate.

They don’t even know inaccurate yet

Just because DD or TJ may not be the answer isn't a reason to keep Bo. He had three seasons and more chances than any QB the last 20 years at AU and he still sucked arse. Kicking him out and having an open opportunity will get us on the radar for elite talent like Brock and/or another Holden.

This is a terrible take.

How? You think it is better to keep running out guys who don't have the skills set to compete at a high level?

Don't know. We still have a large portion of our fanbase who wants a QB that pads his stats vs Akron and ASU. They completely gloss over his stats vs GA ST and P5 schools.

The stats argument is so stupid. I’m open to a new qb leading us, but the fact remains Bo was the best we had last year. I don’t know who we bring in, because a lot of the better transfers have already committed, but if we land someone like Vandagriff Finley isnt just going to hand the keys to him. It’s going to be bad if Finley beats him out.

So much for peace on earth and goodwill towards man. Merry Christmas you bums. I for one am holding out hope our QBs sucked on purpose as to confuse Houston!

Seriously though, we need a QB and Bo Nix wasn't the answer either.

You said this during the Georgia game:

“Please 8 pound baby Jesus. Let TJ play...”

You wouldn’t know a QB even if hit you square in the face

I love the new old Jang

Anyway there are 2 types of fans some know and some don’t know but both see what they want to see.

Bo’s gone. Good for him if he thought that’s what he needed to do. But this bullshite of Bo or even Pat making demands is garbage. Most kids that transfer meet with the coach with their family. It’s common practice and has been even before the portal. That’s my issue know bashed him when he was here and know slandering him and his family when he leaves. How can you root against a kid and yes 20 years old is still a kid that bleeds orange and blue, worked his arse off, keep his shite straight, graduated in 3 years, still loved Auburn? I hope he goes on and becomes a great player, then into coaching, and you never know he might be a hot shot coach at 37 years old and momma calls him home.

You don't know that. It's completely believable that they went to Harsin with wanting some sort of guarantee that Bo would be starter and Harsin probably gave a statement about how there will be competition at the position...like all positions

I hope he dominates at Oregon. These are "kids" with paid schooling and contract endorsements.

Our starting QB quit on Auburn rather than compete. You can't argue that. I don't fault him for trying to do what he thinks is best though.

It’s Christmas so I will be nice.

Coach and player relationships don’t go like that. Regardless of what this board thinks Bo is one of the top QBs in the country. Those are the facts.

You seriously think Bo wouldn’t be the starter next year? If you think that there is no reason to have the discussion.

Did worm quit on the team? McCreary? Any of the guys that could use a super senior season? If so why not? They did what they thought was best for them. As we should expect all these kids to do.

His stats don't back that up. Good yes but not one of best. I'm not mad he transferred and wish him the best. But all the bs drama and dragged out social media is aggravating. To say you gave it your all for Auburn with two years left is a lie.

Instead of getting rid of the best option, why not bring in better QBs to unseat the starter? Hope is not a winning strategy.

Jay, Bo is a good QB and his numbers are close to Sully number. He would have broke most of the passing records next year if he stayed. We don't know what was said when coach and Bo meet and neither does anybody else but I would bet money he did not go and DEMAND anything. I wish him the best. We better get a QB because Bo was a lot better than what we have. We go 6-6 next year coach will have some hot pants and should.

None of us were in that room or are intimately aware of what was said and in what manner. It’s one thing to have a discussion and get a sense of the coaches plans for 2022. It’s another thing if the Nix family wanted certain guarantees or in some way wanted to have say so in the plans. It’s about what and how it was said. Regardless, they chose to leave. The manner in which Bo handled it was not good. Make a decision and announce it. Instead he couldn’t shut up telling anyone that he was considering options. Harsin however was very professional. Gus and Bo are gone and I for one wish everyone would move on and focus on AU.
