I think we need to retain 3-4 of these rotation guys at minimum for me to have much faith. SP didn't inspire much confidence that he can bring a group of newbies together in only a season.

I'd prefer SWA, Overton, and Freeman to return for sure. Would also love to have Pettiford back at the right price, but not sure we can afford to spend $2+ million on him which I suspect is his asking price.

The way I see it is we are going to have to really pay for a PG either way.

True. I am not fully sold Pettiford can be your true 1 if you are a good team though.

You could maybe make it work if you had some kind of point forward type you could run the offense through, I just don't see us having that sort of comeuppance in the portal.

He got injured late. They moved the camera to something else and the announcers never said anything about it. I read where SP said he heard the staff say he may have tendonitis but didn’t say where. Hopefully he is ok.

I think you are thinking of Freeman? He got injured last night, not Murphy.

When one of the white caboose players scored late in the game, Freeman was jumping around pretty good on the bench, so I don't think it is anything too serious based on that.

Hate to hear that, but in a way Auburn could have inadvertently saved his life!

Will Auburn cover his health insurance as long as he remains a student?

Is this confirmed? I hope they can treat / monitor that condition for the young man. I always figured it something other than a typical injury since they never would come out and say anything definitive (unless I missed it) but this is the first I've seen an actual reason for his prolonged absence.
