His offense this year at ASU was nothing to get excited about, but I know nothing about their team. Last year at Southern Miss it was really good.

That's not the full resume... Who the frick are you?
Literally nobody but the local yokels like you give a shite about his time in Colbert Country. And it's cool and all that he worked with Mothershed at Deshler but far less people have heard of him and Deshler than know about Probst and Hoover, so it's really not even worth listing.
And you're wrong about Mothershed being a better coach than Probst. Better person does not equal better coach. Hoover and Colquitt County were nothing before Probst and now they're national teams. Nick Saban thought highly enough of Probst's coaching ability that the analyst job that brought Jeremy Pruitt from Hoover to Bama was originally slated for Probst until it came out that he was a raging man whore. You don't know more about coaching than Nick Saban, but you're jangalang so I wouldn't be surprised if you think you do

Doesn't matter who has heard of Mothershed, what matters is what knowledge Chip learned during his stops. Leaving out learning from Mothershed is fricking retarded.
And obviously Hoover is welll known. They have more money, students, resources, etc. still doesn't change that Mothershed was a better football coach.

So then you do think you know better than Nick Saban?
It's funny this Mothershed guy is supposed to be some legend but nobody outside of small town Alabama knows who he is. I personally never heard his name in my life until the recent tragedy with his son.
Btw, great coaches don't get forced into resignation Tuberville style like Mothershed. Only for Alpha shite like having multiple baby mama's and banging half the teachers in school like Probst.
2 State Championships in 4A oooooohh wow, soooooooooo impressive
(Had to Google to know about that and his forced resignation because nobody knows who the clown is)

It will probably be Chip Lindsey if he wants to come home. Probably a good hire. Familiar with Gus and his system, but more air raid oriented. Could be a good combination.

if he has PROVEN he can coach up and develop QB's, and there is evidence out there for that fact, i'm not against this I guess. But I still hate the idea of bringing in another Gus connect

WTF are you talking about? It's Hoover. Nick Saban associates with anybody that will help his interests. A smaller, county school that rarely attracts big recruits will never catch Saban's attention.

Well then you haven't been paying attention. He is a legendary high school football coach in Alabama. Your credibility is shite.

He was there for over 25 years. You're getting your arse handed to you right now.

Their new starting QB got injured mid season, 4/5 OLand they lost their top 2 WR and legit all purpose back/WR DJ Foster
Not saying he gets an excuse but just hard to judge the results in that context

I don't see franklin happening the way he whined about how he was treated when he was OC here under tubs is probably enough to make him steer clear . now the same staff is no longer here but I don't see him coming back of course I didn't see Muschamp coming back either

Jake Spavital if not one of the Briles.

There is no way we bring in Tony Franklin.

Why in the world would we want more of a air raid offense. Not saying you are leading to that but I'm not sure anyone has accomplished anything with the air raid offense.

Agree and if I were him, you could not drag me back to the plains

That just goes to show he wasn't anything special. No coach worth his salt gets stuck at some tiny redneck school in the middle of nowhere for a quarter century. Either nobody else wanted him, he was too scared to leave, or he had no career ambition. Any way you look at it, that says a lot more about his coaching ability than his record at Bumfrick High School does
