Coaching search ongoing, no information leaking out, and writers have to publish something.

For all who have been so blasé about the search: an article like this is what happens. We aren't just fighting against ourselves here. Your opponents are masters at this negative recruiting tradecraft. If we have to duke this out in the news media, it will only get worse.

If we don't name an OC by tomorrow, articles will abound by Sunday about how Auburn is just as dysfunctional as it was during Jetgate.

The articles will all suck, full of gas and hyperbole, but they will come, and unfortunately, they will have an effect on recruits and their families.

Tommy Tubberville for AD because he knows first hand the good ole boy network is the problem at Auburn and he could drain the swamp.

Bruh. You could argue Tommy invented the good ole boy network at auburn.

Besides improving facilities and raising funds, JJ has been 50/50 on the actual process of running an athletic department.

Calling for Tuberville to be AD to "drain the swamp" would be like naming Trooper Taylor our director of compliance

If true, this tells me that the PTB have little faith in Gus to make it through next year. Gus probably wants a solid OC hire that will cost money, and the higher ups would rather him take a chance on someone young/inexperienced just in case they have to buyout the staff.

Gus is fine you fricksticks. We finished 2nd in the SEC. Yes some games sucked, but we got Stidham and will get an OC and improve the passing game. Pull the anal plugs out of your arse and put them back in the drawer.

You have that backwards. The PTB want an expensive "proven" coordinator while Gus wants a more up and comer that he is more familiar with.

We will hire Chip Lindsey. That is about all I am convinced of. It just may not be until after signing day.

For some reason, I would be okay with Chip. I don't want a retread.

I guess youre ok with another YES man as an OC.

Why did we get rid of Lashlee if we werent going to bring in someone with full autonomy
