a know, if things continue to go downhill with Bryan Harsin and he’s fired after two years, Hugh Freeze is out there. Lane Kiffin will be out of the equation because of the extension at Ole Miss. Mario Cristobal is out of the question. Billy Napier isn’t an option anymore. Bill Clark will claim to be an option, yet stay at UAB…again.

I'm down with Freezus. And bill clark, I'm still laughing my arse off over that one.

Slow down. Harsin isn’t gone and unless some real shite is going down Harsin will be the coach in the fall.

This I know. But when and if the time arises it should be Dave Aranda.

Aranda would be on the list along with Bro Beaver. I doubt he would listen to AU as freeze and Gus were BFF. We’re going to have to hire a top tier coach in need of an image rehab like Bruce in order to attract what is required to correct this cluster.

I’m down with Freezus as well. I will have to hold my nose while thinking about what he was all about at Ole Miss but beggars cannot be choosers.

Yes, Baylor and Aranda agreed to an extension in December….pretty sure they also extended Grimes as well. There was talk of it.

Unfortunately, there would be holier than thou Auburn fans claiming Auburn is too good for Hugh Freeze…just like they said about Lane Kiffin.

Aranda is impressive as hell. Smart, Professional and very organized. He was probably the glue on that 2019 LSU team. It sure wasnt't the cajun cookie monster. Baylor was a damn good football team this year. Our last two offensive gurus haven't done so well. Let's go with a defensive mind next time.

Well I'm giving Harsin next year but if this time next year we're not any better you and I can start AuHireFreezus.com and make it happen. I know a guy with some cash and hookers and blow so we can get some shite done.

EDIT: But Aranda would be the only better option that Freezus

I don’t think that many guys decided to enter the portal today. I’d be surprised if any got in today. I would figure anyone wanting to play here or anywhere else next year would want weight room and spring practice here before leaving

Is this the local writers flexing to show Hars they can make life uncomfortable if he continues to shut them out?

Aranda would be my first choice but I honestly don’t see him leaving Baylor for AU with the state the program is in. With OU and TX heading to the SEC he is about to run the Big 12 and have a easier path to the playoffs.

Baylor also has a lot of money, they can match Auburn in that regard.

Hars doesn't need help making things uncomfortable for himself

At some point a school will give Freeze a redemption shot for a discount salary compared to his peers with equally impressive talents. So why not Auburn. Auburn did indeed miss the boat with Kiffin, but fans weren’t nearly as desperate then.

We need to take a gamble on a guy like Freeze. Worked out for us in basketball big time

I have thought the same thing. I think that Harsin probably thinks most of them are idiots anyway. Especially PM. I have seen Harsin laugh at his incompetence in press conferences.
