Big Zak snacks could be the name of his conditioning sessions if he has a cruel sense of humor.

Most people don’t control the spelling of their name

I want whoever Harsin wants and hope he gets his first guy he wants.

More than likely it's the Zona St. OC. He was Harsin's OC at Boise St. for a few years. He left Boise for more money.

If he had any self respect he woulda changed it at 18. Not only no C just a straight K?! His last name is pretty sweet too which is what makes it the worst. Coulda been a legend.

One good thing I’ve seen on hill is that Jayden Daniels rushing numbers improved vastly when he took over.
Still would be a meh hire to me, but I want Harsin to have exactly who he wants

New JGT nugget: Listen up edition
Baylor offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes has been contacted in connection with this vacancy.
It’s been speculated that BU coach Dave Aranda will pay almost anything to retain Grimes. Still, we don’t believe money would be a deal-breaker here.
A potential deal-breaker nonetheless exists. At BYU, Grimes worked for a head coach with a defensive background. At Baylor, Grimes works for a head coach with a defensive background.
Would he, could he, work for an offensive-minded head coach at Auburn? How much autonomy is enough?
Also, unlike most offensive coordinators, Grimes came up coaching the OL. He has some very specific, unusual techniques he teaches when it comes to coaching OL play. That means he may need to bring his own OL coach — and Auburn also would need a QB coach as well.
That’s a complicated machination.
Still, Grimes is trending up.

Grimes is good enough that you allow him to retool the staff if he needs to. I don't think I'd make that allowance for any other realistic candidate.

That doesn’t happen anymore

If they are, Jeff must have learned how to coach OL from someone else.
I'm pretty sure they aren't related.

Baylor OL coach Eric Mateos
Worked with Grimes at BYU and LSU, also under Pitboss when he was at Arky the first time.
Would be a pretty awesome combo. Wonder who Hars could pull as QB coach? Or maybe slide Kiesau over to that role and get Dameyune in as WR/Co-OC?

No thanks, we have had enough piss poor WR the past 10 years to last us a lifetime

In that situation, Harsin would do it himself I'd guess.
