we did pick up Vandy! And you know that rivalry series is neck and neck

No Auburn vs Kiffin, Kiffin vs Freeze, Freeze vs Ole Miss is so stupid. Pretty sure they're going to regret that one after this year.

I wish they would at least have done home and away with Bama and Georgia. Knew they were gonna do it to us.

Don’t want to do the UGA/GT thing, but I think it’s fair to acknowledge the shift away from matchups that most of us have come accustomed to over our lifetimes.

That’s kinda where I’m at. I loved wearing home gear @ LSU, even though we didn’t fare well there lately. There’s something about using the MS schools as a barometer to our season’s success

I’ll miss those things, even if they’re relatively insignificant result-wise and even if I ultimately become acclimated with the changes

In the format we are headed to I’m fine with the schedule and yes it seems more manageable. I just hate to see these rivalries actually end. It’s what makes the sport special.

Kiffin is going to have to stew on that beating he’s going to receive this year though, because he won’t get a chance to beat Freeze the next season.

What is the actual format? Is the SEC repicking the opponents every year? Or is the 2024 schedule going to be the future standard.

Playing Arkansas, A&M, Mizzou, Vandy & Kentucky is straight garbage.

Of that group only Arkansas elicits any emotion, and it ain’t much.

They haven’t decided.

They went with a temporary solution for 24

Yeah that grouping is bad and somehow they will have bunch of Randall Cobbs spread out all over those buzzsaws.

Just poke me in the eye with a fork.

So this is what it feels like to have UGAs schedule every year.

I’ll allow it

It’s hilarious they haven’t figured it out yet. I understand these are relatively big decisions and some headaches with tv contracts and big personalities but my gosh. It ain’t rocket science!

Probably our easiest schedule in years, and most of me doesn’t like it because we’re losing the matchups with LSU and the Mississippi schools.

All of the changes are making me care less about college football which sucks. I’m sure I’ll watch most auburn games anyways, but just doesn’t seem as exciting and fun to me anymore. Losing all the traditional rivalries and such for the sake of money and growth stinks. Maybe part of that annoyance is just becoming an old man.

Not just gonna stop watching… it’s just the slow dilution of a product. My interest in it has definitely waned already over the developments of the past few years but I’m still a long way from not watching. It’s still a lot more entertaining than most sports

Change is always weird. Sucks. But is what it is I guess. I hate not playing lsu. Miss schools, whatever. I grew up watching em on JP mostly. Will always remember the 03 ole miss game when Obamanu dropped it in the endzone. I was 12 and heartbroken and a dude behind me just patted me on the shoulders and said welcome to being an Auburn fan, kid. It won’t be the last heartbreak you have

CFB is basically dead to me. Unbelievable what has happened in a very, very short period of time.

I will still watch some but it will be more like golf where it's if I'm home and have nothing else going on. Definitely not appointment television anymore, even Auburn, and that hurts and is a place I never could have envisioned even 3-4 years ago.

Once the corporate tailgating took over Auburn I knew it wasn’t gonna be pretty. Just sucks, man. They had a perfect thing and just couldn’t get out their own way and greed for more $$

I was hoping we’d pick up a UTenn or UF in exchange for losing LSU, OM, or MSU. But instead they give us some home games that have no weight plus two road games to the 2 northern most schools in UK and Mizzou. That blows.
