But yeah, I agree. This team gets me harder than HoW at BassPro with a gift card.

I haven't spent a penny at BPS in years.

I only shop at the new, trendy outdoor retailers.

thats just not the case. Everyone on this board knew when he made a good block that sprung a big run or a first down distance run or helped with an edge rusher. His play is not overlooked by Auburn fans.

ets: There isnt a single player who is overlooked by Auburn fans. Undervalued or overrated is a different subject, but never overlooked.

Okay, I don’t know if it’s my age, or I’m not in on all the hip and groovy terms you whipper snappers use.

What is a HoW? I get the rest of the reference. I like Cabela’s, but I don’t buy much there. Only good deal I have seen there was ammunition. I bought two 5 gallon Buckets of 5.56/.223 for a hundred dollars each. I believe they each had 1,000 rounds.

The easiest thing to do to bring down expectations this season is to remind yourself we play five preseason top 25 teams and four of them are on the road. Three of those road games have historically proved difficult for us to find wins especially lately. Of those teams three of them are ranked in the top 6. Plus we have to play A&M and LSU who both have plenty of NFL talent.

I'm not getting my hopes up again about AU football after being excited about the JJ Heisman campaign, that was a soul crushing blow.

It is shocking that a guy that size looks like he is in a pinball machine when trying to block in the hole. Cox gets no push and frequently gets pushed around

This one surprises me but in a good way. Freak athlete but figured he would need some time to adjust (probably still does) but good to hear he's looked good early. If we can add Derick Hall in 2019 class the depth at Buck moving forward will be insane

I want to be excited about things but the o-line is perpetually making me sad about the footballs

Yep. Gotta see that Oline finally come out and start knocking the other team around before I get excited. (And also not look like a confused bunch of Mity Mite football players during pass protection)

Meh, we are less than a month from the season starting. It's hard for me to not be excited. I may not end the season excited, but you have to be pretty cynical to not be excited for the start of this glorious time of the year.

If the OL gels and looks good going into the first couple of SEC tests I’m gonna really like where we are at.
