What does being soft have to do with a knee injury? Lmao. I don’t care how tough you are if someone dives into your knee you’re probably gonna get hurt

They do tend to get hurt more frequently in general but that play where his knee got tweaked definitely isn’t on him or conditioning. It’s just a crummy play.

Here are our 3 point % for the last 6 games;
3 for 25 (12%)
8 for 32 (25%)
6 for 26 (23%)
5 for 21 (24%)
6 for 23 (26%)
6 for 28 (21%)

Stole this from elsewhere. What are your opinions on this. Do we back off on the 3s or do we continue pressing. We are obviously doing alright winning either way

In order to win a title, we need to be better… gotta keep shooting.

Bruce likes to keep the green light there to keep everyone confident and playing with freedom, but hopefully they review shot selection a little. It’s not bad shooters for the most part, but poor shot selection. Kick out 3s are much higher percentage than off the dribble pull up 3s.

We have had good looks and missed shots as well. Just not falling. If they do watch it this team could be scary good

The fact that we are shooting poorly and still winning is favorable to us because I think that means we have a higher baseline. but I’m with you on this. We are going to need the 3 ball to compete for a national title.

We need to do much more of this. KD and WGJ drive and RARELY look to kick out. So much so that teams clog the lane and leave guys wide open on permiter.

Imo our offense should go through the post every possession. We have 2 dominate players in the middle. Too much drive and kick 3s when we don't shoot them for shite.

Law of averages says we will certainly get better from 3. Now we certainly will not be a great 3 PT% team with this roster but no reason we can’t be 35% or so. Would rather be throwing up bricks right now than a month from now.

Law of averages + a little more deliberate shot selection as the games start to matter more which Bruce will definitely start working us into. I think our best basketball is ahead of us.

I think the % will pick back up and I don't think we'll change much. I'm glad we're doing this now rather than 5-6 more games from now. We haven't really played great since before UK. Often times post-season success is dependent on getting hot at the right time. Hopefully this is AU's lull and we pick it back up. Regardless our D is L-E-G-I-T.

Changing gears... Will we still be ranked #1 or do we fall down a couple of spots?

EDIT: Sorry didn't see it mentioned anywhere else.

WDE!!!

Gonzaga is a machine… they will be close to unanimous #1 on Monday.

Gonzaga will move back to 1. We probably hang on at 2.

They took Lunardi’s top 1 seed too. Top 1 seed can pick their region.

Really wish we had a Bryce Brown or Justin Powell type to be on the receiving end.

Powell’s numbers in SEC play at UT are poop… in our offense he might get more looks, but idk.

It’s looking like his decision to leave was awful for his career.

Worked out well for us though. I'll take what KD is bringing to our team over what Powell is bringing to his this year. Despite being a ball hog sometimes, the team still gets along with him and the energy he brings is an overall plus to team chemistry.

Powell on the other hand didn't seem to fit in with the locker room, and I think is an overall negative to chemistry

Powel transferred a lot in HS but I’d guess parents were the issue. There are rumors that his parents were involved in his transfer away from Auburn as well.

He would’ve benefited from being at Auburn and I think he knows that. I don’t hold any grudges toward him.
