What is it about us playing Miss State that leads to game blowing errors in the 9th? Omaha all over again
I didn't even think about that. Sheesh.

Same announcing team as last night. Not good. If someone can help me sync up the play by play and the AU broadcast I would appreciate it.

Butch has to play Farquar for Foster. If Foster's bat isn't a plus then go with the glove. Foster can't make routine plays.

No one is asking me, but I'd play Farquar at 2nd base for Foster. We also have serious catching problems. I think Thompson thought Wyant would be a glue guy and good defensively but every time he plays he gives up passed balls that are his fault. Nate LaRue shouldn't be catching. He sucks defensively and isn't hitting his weight. At the plate LaRue gets worked up with soft stuff away. Its frustrating to watch.

Catcher, 2nd base snd LF/OF will determine our season. We always give up the ghost in the second SEC game. I'd like to get out with a win.

You've got to sit Foster, Butch. Three K's, two looking. He's lost his confidence at the plate. You could play Farquar or the other Samford kid there (Carlson) if you want more offense. Foster looks lost at the plate at the moment.

Gonzalez is so much fun to watch pitch.

(edit) And Foster just mangled a DP.

My guess is with that hit, Carlson just got his name penciled in at 2b for the next 10 games. That was a good at-bat.

Watching Gonzalez is like watching Greg Maddux, at a lower level on not yet as efficient of course. None of his stuff is going to excite any scouts but everyone he faces drives the ball in the dirt.

HE HAS THREE FLYBALL OUTS TONIGHT, NOT INCLUDING THE TWO JACKS HE GAVE UP. That's amazing.

YES! That was a dime of a throw by Ware! It was the right call too. LaRue tagged him in the face before he slid in to home plate.

8-7 at the halfway point, and we've had three road series.

I’ll take it. I hate choking the first game but at least we didn’t get swept on the road. Need to regroup and take a winnable series against USCe

Apparently the ball stuck in the web of Foster's glove in game 1. I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt but it sure as hell seems to happen a lot with him. How about you smoke a gapper and make me forget. I think Carlson or Farquar need a shot at second.

I think I’m with you there. Butch needs to make some roster management decisions. These guys that are making errors or in a big slump hitting need to regroup themselves and give others a shot. We need clutch hitting. The defense for the most part has been good though. That catcher has not been hitting well.

In the game that Foster made the last inning error didn’t he hit the go ahead or tying homerun in the prior inning? I don’t get to watch as much as some of you so maybe I’m missing a few things.

The best way I've found is to stream the sound on like TuneIn radio app and pause the station (I use WLWI) until it matches or pause live TV until it does.

Just saw these shirts online. Not sure if the players get money out it through NIL, but I assume they would since they are using their Name, Image, and Likeness.
