Maybe but they also faced a significantly different level of competition.
Baseball is also streaky, and I'd say based on the regionals Auburn is playing better baseball than Oregon St. If we hit, Gonzales pitches like he usually does, and either Bright or Barnett can have a good 5+ inning outing I like Auburn's chances.

I think OSU has a deep pitching staff. Their strength.

we have strong starters and stud closer. Pitching strength.

We have a core of very good hitters, then it's hit and miss with the rest of the lineup. We don't do well w RISP.

I agree if starters can give us 5-6 innings of quality starts, we can win in 2.

If they hit our starters well, middle innings pitchers scare me. It will be a slugfest to the end.

That is shocking. He has only been there three years. Former player and his Dad built that program.

90% chance of rain tomorrow and Sunday. Hopefully it’s just oregon weather and scattered throughout the weekend.

Pedro Martinez called this a year ago. Pretty interesting: LINK. Makes you wonder about his pitching coaches.

LFG. My arse usually sleeping by 930 on weeknights and weekends like 1030. Can’t believe how far I’ve come from the younger days. It’s sad. Staying up for this shite tho.

Yeah, pretty wild nobody has got him to clean that up yet. It's obvious thats not sustainable (which I guess is obvious with him undergoing TJ).

Hope he gets that cleaned up and can have a successful career after surgery.
