Army up 5-1 on NCST in the 8th and just absolutely working that pitching staff for every pitch

Is it just me or is it hard to get excited about any success in the regional knowing we have slim to no chance in Gainesville?

Mize can go 8 or 9 for you so you absolutely throw him today. Could potentially have the entire bullpen for tomorrow.
Plus a win today means we only have to win 1 of 2 potential games tomorrow, whereas a loss today means we would have to win 3 games in a row tomorrow.

Mize and Burns/Greenhill can beat Fla. No reason to be scared of them. They will have all of the pressure. Just need to close this one out and get the chance.

Last season we were basically one strike away from the CWS cause we would have hosted Sam Houston State with KT and Mize, so I’m not counting any chickens until I see us win this regional
From what I’ve read NC State is light on starting pitching so we are in a great spot with a win today

Mize feasts on small ball teams too, as he doesn’t allow you to get on base in the first place to move runners over.
