When was the last time we held a good O to zero points in a half?
We need to establish the running game in the second half.
JJ needs to work on his decision making.
I played a hard first half. Whewwww. I am winded. Need to hydrate for the second half. Don't want to cramp up.

My first half grades
Defense: A+
Offense: C+
Special teams: A+
Keys to success in the 2nd:
Pound the ball with either JR or PB. Can we still run that zone read with JJ?
Also, apparently Roc is injured.

Our offense will get in rythm and be fine. Remember how Marshall looked lost in the opener vs MSU in 2013.
-defense is finally tackling well.
-Our front 7 is elite
-Secondary is not bad, and Matthews is all-SEC good

It's just the first half of the season. Hopefully we can just put it up to JJ's nerves. If he can settle down and make some good reads things will get a ton easier for him.

Our DLine looks good even when Carl is out. They get some serious pressure from Russell and Monty
Unfortunately UL's OL is garbage so we don't know exactly how much they are contributing

First Half Thoughts
- If JJ learns what a checkdown is we will be fine. He is trying to make the big play & not take what defense gives them
- Our OL is starting to gel. Let's come out & run the ball & dink/dunk them
- Every single DL has made a play in first half
- Cass is playing pissed off, I think Muschamp getting through
- Russell & Lawrence are beasts. Both are stonewalling the inside
- UL is taking away Duke & Louis we need to start hitting the flats
- All our issues offensively are correctable. JJ stops making poor decisions we will be fine
Overall not how I thought game would go but not THAT disappointed. We have shown we can run & throw on them & they can't block us. If JJ would understand that some plays are just not here & eat it that will go a long way. Offense needs to click. Come out and put 7 on em early & let's finish these guys

The opener was at Washington State. We didn't know what kind of team we were then. Same thing in 2010. Hopefully won't take Gus 4 games to figure it out this year.
JJ is going to have growing pains. Just hope he grows quickly.
