quote:Yes, they were terrible. Aside from the fact that most are, or were, walk-ons, they do not have much size, either. Tackle Jake Rodgers is 6-6 251, tackle Wade Jacobson is 6-6 306, guard John Fullington is 6-5 290, guard Matt Goetz is 6-4 270, and center Elliot Bosch is 6-4 260. The offense also only rushed for 21.9 yards per game last season.
WSU gave up the most sacks in the PAC 12 last year. Hell, they gave up the most sacks in the country (117th).
I have also noticed that the Washington State depth chart on Rivals lists the starting wide receivers, and 3 are freshmen with 1 being a sophomore. The starting running back is also listed as a freshman.
I just cannot find a reason to be scared of this game, or as to why Auburn should not defeat them by more than 2 touchdowns.

A little surprised to see the line against Georgia is only 15. Would have thought it would be more. And I'm guessing the only reason LSU is by 18 is bc it's there.
I would really like to upset one of these two teams.

I don't think we gbeat WSU by 11.5 and I don't think LSU beats us by 18
1. If we can't beat Wazzu by 2 TDs, it's gonna be a loooooonnnggg year.
2. Everything depends on the QB. If we still don't have a QB going into LSU, LSU will easily beat us by 18.

I think our best shot is LSU, only because I have no faith in Mett slinging the ball around - That line should be about -11 IMO. UGA will be a tough upset with a competent QB and strong running attack - if the line moves to -13.5 I'll probably take it, but I expect it to move higher.
At the end of the day, I'd take AU getting 18 against LSU.

Washington State sucks donkey balls. If we can't run them out of JHS in the 90 degree heat that will be awaiting them then we don't deserve to play for the rest of the damn year. That bunch of scrubs and walk-ons have zero business walking into SEC country. ZERO.

I look at it as a good ole fashioned Southern Baptist hell, fire, and brimstone speech football style.

Though this is solid thinking and I actually agree with you 100%, we ourselves were a total dumpster fire last year and we are basically fielding the same team. Under new management. IF it had not been for some luck, we would have only won two games last year..
Dont think for a second either that the head pirate wont have a few tricks up his sleeve. He is a good football coach
Just POS as a human being

All of this. If our offense doesn't have Washington's Defense on IV's by the 3rd quarter, it'll be a painful year.
