Elko is who I wanted

He never would have come to Auburn knowing A&M was going to open.

Things go on behind the scenes via agents telling their coaching clients solid info way in advance

Whoever can score some fricking points. I’m so sick of these putrid offenses the last 5-6 years with Gus on his way out, Harsin, now this moron Freeze.

Should of hired Lane. We’d be in the thick of it every year. Probably looking at 6 wins next year with a young qb

If Hugh had an ounce of honor he would forfeit half of his salary for this year to OTV to ensure the best QB and LT in the portal are at Auburn next year.

Got to see how we finish in recruiting this year. Dude is bringing in an insane class. If it falls apart and next season is shite, you fire his arse. Tennessee kept firing until they got one.

Do we even know if Lane was interested in Auburn? From what I saw, he was not.

But I dont keep up that closely

Name another coach in the SEC that would be sitting at 1 - 5 in conference with the schedule we have played thus far. I do not believe there is a single one that is not at least 4 - 2.

Seems like DJ Durkin is going to be the next head coach at some point.

This is my problem man. The roster sucks, but so do all of the opponents we've lost to outside of UGA, There are so many coaches in the country that could get this team to 7-9 wins and we'll be lucky to finish with 4.

start… Throw a bag at Todd Monken to see if he is interested - Won a couple of NCs at Georgia, has experience coaching Ravens and Lamar Eric Bieniemy (UCLA) - won two Super Bowls with KC, for strange reason went to UCLA likely because Reid thought he can get two more SBs from Mahomes and not anoint him HCIW Other young and up comers: Joe Sloan (LSU), Will Stein (Oregon), Mike Denbrock (Notre Dame) I will guarantee this… if Rev. Hughes comes back after a 4-8 season, we will lose a lot of players. If he is canned, the only way we retain two years of recruiting is if we have a solid hire. That’s why I am leaning toward Monken or Bieniemy because of their NFL experience.

are you retarded

These people are clowns at this point. Yes, we don't have talent to win titles but we are 3-6 with losses to 5 mid to bad teams. I would argue only 1 is more talented than we are. It's so frustrating absolute dweebs like Beamer and Drinkwitz can field competent teams at crap football schools and we are stuck with this.

Yep. It’s beyond embarrassing. Worst Auburn program in 70 years.

70 damn years and folks are making excuses. You all have no idea what a good coach and team looks like. Bunch of Hugh simps.

With Thorne?

Even Kirby would have 3 losses right now at least with below average Thorne.

If he cant beat Vandy with our talent, he wont beat UGA and Bama with any talent

You are not always going to have tons more talent than your opponent in this league. Equal is the best that you can hope for. You need to beat the teams you are more talented than.

he is not

Kirby would have sense enough to recognize the QB issue and we would be a run heavy team instead of going RPO and putting the decision in the hands of the least capable person on the field. Unreal.

Most coaches in the country could manage this. We got as good of a schedule as we're ever going to get this year and Freeze found 8 losses.

But he can recruit Lanier. Why can’t you understand that. He just needs players.
Coaching is for tourists.

People would stack the box, just like they have versus Auburn. And they’d wait for PT to turn the ball over, just like they have versus Auburn.
