Dunans shoots better when he's contested and off balance.

When he is wide open, clang.

Good win. Needed it.

We seem to play to competition. Wish we could find some consistency but then again this is Auburn basketball and we have to make it difficult

Heron so far is the best player on the team because of his consistency. He's a quiet scorer. Although his FT shooting almost hurt us tonight, his 21 were needed to get this win.

We need to evaluate why our team tanks again inferior opponents. It's been a pattern for WAY too long.

I think part of it is the hangover from Thursday.

We don't play defense. We don't rebound. We don't move the ball.

We should probably evaluate how we win any games

Gonna be a weird season. We might win 14. Might win 22.

So IMO we need to be at

1-Harper
2-Heron/Dunans
3-Heron/Dunans
4-Purifoy
5-Wiley

I feel like that is our best option to win games.

Just read back through the last few pages. Nice melting guys

We were obviously still enjoying the high of the win Thursday and getting Wiley cleared to play. It's going to take time for them to figure out how to incorporate him without forcing it. They'll figure it out though.

That was a good win for us. We played horribly and still found a way to win. Lang, Dunans, and Heron stepped up when Purifoy and Harper were struggling. Again, this is a very underclassmen driven team. We're going to have games like this

I'd almost choose Lang over Dunans

Young isn't an excuse for the shite we do.

One game like this, ok. More than half of our game are like that though

Heron also needs to be given immaculate credit for calling that timeout...super heads up play by him. He's playing way above freshman level.

That one was frustrating, but we pulled it out. We did a better job with their zone in the second half, but it still kills us. I thought Wiley played great all things considered. Purifoy is going to have to start finding a way to score if he's not hitting threes. That was his worst game so far this year. I'm not going to get too high or low on any individual game this year. It's going to be a roller coaster with all the youth on the team.

I'm curious why we aren't sending Purifoy into the high post to try to break the zone. It seems like he's the ideal type of player to do that

We did that with Heron in the second half. I guess they trust his ability to get to the rim and midrange more.

Anybody know where and when I can see a replay?

My dumbass thought this game was later and scheduled a vet visit right in the middle of it

Check SEC Network. They had a replay of the Coastal Carolina game on the other day.

Yea, I definitely noticed Heron doing it. I guess the idea could be that Purifoy stays outside to try to get an open 3. I just thought Purifoy's length would make it easier for him to get the ball and possibly make a pass to the outside.

I do think Wiley will help against the zone once he gets set in. Guy was banging inside already.
