Dislocated ankle. 6 weeks in a boot but he'll be back 100% next season

Glad to hear it was not career ending.

He just tweeted that it is a fracture, dislocation and will need surgery (tomorrow) for torn ligaments

Prayers for him.

No. Beaver posted on the rant something from McLemore. Says fracture of the tibia too and out up to 6 months but it's still better news than I expected after seeing it live.

Looks like McLemore is going to have a ton of time to practice shooting.

Yep. Best case scenario thank God. Still a long road ahead of him. If they have to put hardware in, he might not be able to get back to full range of motion and it’ll be uncomfortable as hell. Sounds like there was no nerve/vascular damage though, so that’s good.

Thoughts and prayers for him. Hope he can stay tough mentally. Basketball aside, injuries like that can be tough to come back from 100%.

Depends on what kind of tibia fracture he had. The normal tibia fracture with ankle injuries is just a medial malleolus fracture which only needs a couple screws. The ligament rehab will be the longest part of the process.

If he can get back to 100 percent by December he will be doing well.

Just heard CBP speak at the Birmingham Tip-Off Club. He said that before surgery, the doctors were saying 4-6 months. Surgery went better than expected and the doctors are now saying 4 months.

At this improved prognosis rate, can we expect him by the SECT?
