Not surprising. Nobody is talking about Auburn right now. Auburn always has to earn respect. A win Saturday by a couple of scores will change that.

No. AU has an above average (top 4) run-blocking SEC OL, and is an average pass-blocking SEC OL. If we just do that and not turn the ball over I like our chances.

Penn State 3.5

Nothing but home field advantage

Their running game sucks and the 3rd down conversion percentage awful.

Both teams face the toughest defensive test for the offenses this season.

I use vegas insider.

It opened at 7

It dropped to 5

It has jumped back to 6 1/2

that tells me the early money liked Auburn. Those are usually the pro's.

I don't care to guess because I think this is the game that will give us a true metric of the quality of our football team. I will say that our chances of beating a top 10 team at home are not good, but on average - a decent SEC team can stand toe to toe with the better teams of most other conferences. PSU opening win over Wisconsin is impressive - they are no paper lions.

I’m sure PSU will be favored by 6, but I think AU goes in there and wins convincingly. I believe this defense is something really special and I love the leadership I’ve seen from this coaching staff.

Sharps make there lines early. If Vegas is very off, they pounce early.

Agreed. This is a well coached team. Auburn by 10+.

I watched that game also. Like watching paint dry. Neither team stood out as being exceptional..........much like the best team in that conference.......who was a top 10 ranked team.......and lost at home this past Saturday.

Well so far about 22 analyst/sports writers have made their picks & it's 95% PSU.

Glad to see the line is dropping. I think most power ratings have Auburn and Penn Sate within a point or two of each other so this line is pretty much all homefield advantage at this point. The Penn State white out game typically gets the largest homefield adjustment too of any game in a year- usually a 4-4.5 adjustment.

I was interested in seeing how Penn State has faired in their white outs historically and found a pretty good article detailing it. Penn State White Out Stats

Penn State is 8-8 SU all time in white out games, 9-7 ATS, and 4-2 ATS under Franklin.
