Top end currently or all time? Because saying Auburn isn’t one of the top programs in the SEC all time is as dumb as Haskin’s statement.

It's pretty obvious they are talking about where Auburn is currently. Not close to the top of the league is a fair take, but I would define top as being the 3 best teams.

First and only Auburn coach I wanted fired.
Yes it’s a slow rebuild because that dipshit burned the entire program down to the level of Vandy. It’s hard for AU to finish a recruiting class outside the top 25 but when he was fired we sitting at 84th or something like that

You are correct. You were more keeping things status quo with Malzahn but you never liked Harsin

Granted once they are fired and we move to another coach I support that coach. I even tried with Harsin just knew his work ethic wasn’t going cut it in the SEC. The Southeast is so tilled for talent there are very few diamonds in the rough. There are some in Montana, Utah, Idaho, Northern California, eastern Washington that go without getting true rankings that’s where Boise has thrived. Plus with the structure never changed at Boise the coaches changed but most were brought up through the system.

Although you are addressing Corch, I would like to weigh in. This is football. The goal is to win games. Who any of us likes or does not like is irrelevant. Harsin is an arrogant jackass but I could overlook his personality if the results of his tenure had been better. He turned our football program into a 4 alarm dumpster fire and that was a setback the program didn't need. Rebuilding the program is challenging but that is where we are because of a bad hire. Shitty decisions have consequences.

Why would anyone be upset with what Harsin said in the tweet? Generally he's correct. *Some coaches are spineless and will hide behind the anonymous label but the quote isn't controversial so why would any coach hide behind anonymous for saying it?

Agree with LRB - if Harsin was winning 10-11 games a year and challenging UGA and Bama for the SEC Championship, I'd be converting to Mormonism.

There is nothing wrong with it. Just 95% of professionals don't do this. Even kids like Nix that got brutally slammed at times didnt run his mouth afterwards.
He comes across as running his mouth which is also what Barbee did.
As for what he said, my take is his tweet sounded like his normal cowboy schtick. "Coaches say things loud and proud!"....or some bs i could easily see Corch say.

I took it as him saying he thinks the "anonymous coach" claim is likely not as claimed. I.e.. some writer is creating a story and using the anonymous coach schtick. Kind of like the old "some people say" reporting we often hear.
