Went from hype of being undefeated after playing Oklahoma to wanting to fire our coach... in a week.

Overreaction is what we do the best here.

In both directions

At least we are not the Browns who traded away three first round picks for a washed out QB who goes around actively seeking butt massages from every woman he meets…

It speaks to why we’re in the situation we’re in. It’s so difficult to find good QB’s that teams will degrade themselves in the hopes of getting one.

That’s where baseball is easier on fans, I think. You can get over stuff quick when there is another game tomorrow. Football, you have a week (two sometimes) after games to stew on it and overthink everything.

And get pissed off

Football fans believe in Magic. They honestly think that time fixes things. Just like our QB situation. The only thing that fixes things is change. That is why I was so hesitant to believe that a senior QB who has basically always been lack luster would turn into a serviceable player over a summer.

Unless he found the magic potion, he is still going to be the same guy.

Auburn is still having issues getting offensive linemen. Though it's the third coach who is having that issue. Some kind of voodoo ritual needs to be performed to help that situation. That is real magic

Us fans will always be dumbasses. It is something in our lives that we want to be good so bad, we will just close our eyes and hope for it.

As of now I think Zach Calzada has had a better Auburn career than Thorne

wanting to fire our coach

Which is dumb af.

We all knew this rebuild was gonna take at least 2-3 years. Yes it is frustrating, but we can't keep firing coaches every 2 years. Auburn already has the reputation of booster meddling and short leashes for football coaches (deserved or not) and it's shown the program cannot attract an elite coach.

Somewhat agree and I think it’s silly to hot seat Hugh already. That being said, definitely thought we’d be ahead of where we appear to be in year 2. Home loss to Cal signals that we are in danger of not even getting a bowl invite/ having a winning record.

Totally agree and have a major issue with him not going after a portal qb. But the rest of the roster has improved. It's a bad look not improving the most important position, but it didn't happen and it is what it is.

Does Auburn have at least ONE win this season where we can feel good about the effort?

I'm not seeing it. Not yet.
