Anybody got any good playing days stories to tell ? A couple of my coaches got into a fight at halftime once

I was teammates with Mike McNeil

Not football but had my 3 pt shot blocked by Julio Jones at the free throw line. I did not belong on same court as that dude

’tis true, fellow Elmoron.

I remember this code phrase from growing up in Hoover. You would have thought the world was ending in Bluff Park when the only apartment complex in Bluff Park got rezoned for Bluff Park Elementary.

Seems fine to me

More important is how easy it is for you to update/maintain. I went over the top early with recruiting thread & realized I couldn't keep it up. Keep it simple & easy to update

A few reasons. I don’t think the elementary schools are a problem, it’s the issues with the high school. One issue, which can be fixed, is the current culture of football over academics. Winning state football titles is the most important thing to many in leadership positions in that district. One of the other reasons is the potential overcrowding (see below).

The third high school has just been announced, and will even the apartment kids out. That is really the only thing that has held Hoover back from being one of the top schools in the country.

Where did you see this? Future resources is a pretty serious problem for the city and school system. They have had a few years of budget problems due to the slow death of the Galleria. Hoover's tax base is incredibly dependent on retail.

Even though the current projections has the high school age population leveling off, there are lots of people working in and around Hoover City Schools that believe the current plan of simply adding classrooms to current schools is temporary solution. They need a new high school and simply can't afford the damn thing. I know Brocato and a couple of city council members very well and they see that train (future overcrowding and small ed budgets) flying down the track at them. Luckily, they are doing something that most politicians are allergic to....being proactive. They are doing as much as they can to diversify Hoover's economy and not be so dependent on sales tax revenue from retail.

Lol, get hell out with the race card shite. If that were truly the case, families would be leaving Homewood in droves and not trying to move in.

Who does Gardendale play? Heated rivalry between Oxford and Munford will pop off too. Fights will happen.

Cullman hits a 4th & 10 TD with 3 seconds left to beat Jasper 28-27.

In other news #3 Fayette over #3 Gordo. Yes both are #3 they play in different classifications
