And what would have happened if you would have gave them shitty service/products after you closed the deals?

In the real world you have doctors and doctors offices that expect gifts. Their offices cant care less about the reps, most of the time they cannot care less sbout the products either. Hundreds of products, hundreds of reps, easy lunch time solutions. These doctors, or doctors offices, lets just say units, are so anti-emotional to the gifts that they give all the reps a list of what they want, and when they want it. They dont even feel obligated to be nice to the reps that are feeding them.

Now, a rep is pissed. She ordered, and picked up catering for 15 and didnt get a single lead.

If she is worth her salt she will eventually get her leads. A doctor might listen to her in passing in the ER or ICU, and the doctor will tell his charge nurse "schedule that rep for a dinner again."

Boom. sales rep brings home the bacon

Circle back to Freeze.

The extra he does is like gifts. But that extra isnt worth a second glance at the moment. Once the wins come people will be hooked.

Anyway, like I said, true story. Anyone who wants to verify can look up old video of the 1982 Tangerine Bowl and see the band sitting their happy asses in those old rickety bleachers in that end-zone.

My then-future wife had left the AU band and moved back home to Pensacola prior to the 1982 season - she was so pissed that she missed the IB win and the Tangerine Bowl that she got a job in Auburn and moved back in time for the 83 SECC run

False.

If the rep looks good or socializes well then the business will continue

Sure.

In Porn.

Or in some Ann Hathaway movie.

Did the words "In real life" escape you?

Back in the day…

…there was this one Gal’ that played the Tuba.

Wasn’t really much of “Looker” from the neck up.

But?

She had a heavy duty chassis & legit sturdy birth’n-hips” that could produce some serious “Torque

…She was REALLY somethin’ special, I tell’ya.

You would be surprised how much of that they have cut out these days. My wife said their pharmacy in Georgia and the one down here has a list of things they can accept and its a small damn list

Everything a coach like Bruce and Hugh do to reach out to folks helps in some way. Last year for scholarship weekend, Potato head sent a video to a lunch. This year, the Friday night cocktail party is back and Hugh will speak. It matters, everything matters. Band members have parents who all got text that Hugh came to see the band.

And that delivered Bruce exactly 0 wins. There was no way we were going to let Leath fire Bruce. Its because of the wins and biscuits.

Harsin brought biscuits to students.

Do we have any sales reps here?

It doesn't surprise me one bit that you're taking part in this dumbassery.

You brought up bruce bringing pizza but didnt recognize that Harsin brought biscuits.

Nobody cares about your sarcastic half truths, you witty boy.

On this note regarding posters like aubiecat groveling at head coaches for doing their mere job, I'd welcome the suggestion that the thread has been dumbassery from post number one and that yours was icing to the fricking cake.

Every time my wife goes to a pulmonologist's office she is going there with food from Chic-Fil-A, Zaxbys, Mediterranean, Dreamland, JimnNicks, etc. It all depends on which city she is in. Granted, she isnt going there with clubhouse tix to Braves games so what shes allotted is reasonable.

AUMB 2011–2015. I’m still in group chats with folks who were in it later. Gus maybe didn’t do it his last year bc of COVID but I know for a fact he did it at least through 2019.

fwiw Chiz did it in 2011 but, if I remember correctly, sent Trooper to do it in 2012.

I don’t think it’s a big deal either way but not all folks share my position on that
